About the Artist  Kranti Cheon 

Kranti Cheon is South Korean Oil painting, figurative Artist she spent majority of her earlier life in India at the alternative spiritual communities.Developed her unique painting styles and colors from those places where she spent most of her life that inspired. Composing her art, focused on descriptions of each figures and expressing their storeis in detailed colors and designs around the portraits.Realism of the main subject, comes along with the immaginary, descirptions played by the colors on the backgrounds. Lots of her Art subjects are inspired and influenced by the colors of India,pakistan, Iran, central Asia, Tibet as well as middle east. stories of gods and goddess from Hinduism, Buddhism and Muslamic Geometrical designs. Some portraits are people, or freinds she got to know along the travel.

She met lots of spiritual teachers from different culture, such as Dalai Lama, Ammaji, Poonjaji, Yogi Ramsurat kumar and many others and lived in varies tibetan and zen monasteries, ashrams and visiting Sufi and Jewish cultural, spiritual places.

She uses realism, Surreialsim, Orientalism on her portraits expressing her inspiration on her portraits. Intense expressions through eyes that mirrors ones soul. She did veries solo, group exhibitions in different parts of the world as she cotinues to travel upto these days..
